The Senate approves
the Future Pensions Act |
On 30 May, the Senate voted in favor of the Future Pensions Act. Now that the Senate and House of Representatives have agreed, the law will enter into force on 1 July 2023.
It will still take a number of years before it is clear what the new pension scheme of Mars will look like. The employer and the social partners are currently discussing this. The transition to the new pension scheme must be completed on 1 January 2028.
We will inform you as soon as it is clear what impact the changes will have on your pension. |

Do you know how much pension you need in the future? That may be a difficult question, but it is very important to think about this now. The sooner you think about this, the more influence you still have. For example, would you like to retire earlier or would you prefer to work part-time? You can check out what your options are now.
The pension planner helps you with this. Go to 'My planner' in MyMarsPension. Fill in the planner step by step and calculate your personal situation and possibilities. New in the planner is the option to enter (future) income and expenses. This way you get an even better picture of your financial situation. |
