New pension scheme
IFF evaluates the options |
The House of Representatives has approved the Future Pensions Act. The bill is now discussed in the Senate. If the Senate approves, the law will enter into force on 1 July 2023. It will still take a few years before the new pension scheme takes effect.
IFF is looking into the best option for our future. A steering group has been set up, which includes representatives on behalf of the employer (IFF), the trade unions (social partners) and the works council. Together they investigate all possibilities within the new legislation.

Lump sum

| The government proposed an option to have a pay-out of your pension as a lump sum upon retirement. The implementation of this feature has been postponed to January 2024. |

| The policy funding ratio (average funding ratio over the past twelve months) at the end of April 2023 is 129.9%. The current funding ratio at the end of April is 128.2%. |

You do not need to notify us about these changes in your personal situation. For other changes, like your email address, we rely on you to update us. You can adapt your records at MyIFFPension via My Details.
If you live abroad we do not automatically receive changes. In that case, you must notify us of changes of address or changes in your personal situation yourself. |
