The policy funding ratio of the Staples pension fund at the end of September 2020 was 112.5%, a decline compared to the end of August 2020 (112.7%).
The funding ratio expresses the ratio of the fund's assets to its pension liabilities. The policy funding ratio is an average of the current funding ratios over the previous 12 months.
The pension fund submitted a recovery plan to De Nederlandsche Bank at the end of September, as the policy funding ratio at 30 June 2020 was lower than the required funding ratio.
